2024年4月26日にグランドオープンする湯河原リトリート円荘のお部屋（#301）とロビーに作品を展示いたします。
「日常から距離を置くことができる温泉宿で、立ち止まって私たちが生きる世界について考える時間を持ってほしい」そんな思いを込めて、Daydreamシリーズから２点を展示いたします。
My two artworks will be on display in Room #301 and the lobby of Yugawara Retreat Enso, which will have its grand opening on April 26, 2024.
Because they will be exhibited in an Onsen Ryokan (hot spring hotel), where individuals can distance themselves from everyday life, I have decided to exhibit two pieces from the Daydream Series. Please take the opportunity to reflect on the world you live in.

CONCEPT｜コンセプト
「過ぎ去る一瞬を捉えることができれば、人はもしかすると、今より少し丁寧に物事を考えるようになるかもしれない。そのためには、一瞬の現象を止めたようなビジュアルが必要だろう」、とある日、私は思った。
本作のタイトルは「Daydream」であるが、それは白昼夢を表しているわけではない。
一瞬を捉えたその場面は、実際には、白昼夢を彷徨うような不確かな歩みを続ける私たちの生活を厳しく映し出している。
タイトルに示された時間は、その「現象」が捉えられた瞬間を表している。
If one could capture fleeting moments, perhaps people would consider things a bit more carefully than they do now. For that, we might need visuals that seem to freeze those moments,” I thought one day.
While this piece is titled “Daydream,” it doesn’t represent daydreaming itself.
The scene captured in that instant actually harshly reflects our lives, which often wander uncertainly, much like daydreams.
The time indicated in the title represents the moment when that “phenomenon” was captured.
